Full Description
The Conservation Excellence Grant program provides 90% cost-share funding to agricultural producers in Pennsylvania for implementing conservation best management practices that improve water quality. Eligible practices include stream buffers, manure storage, cover crops, no-till transitions, and pasture management.Lancaster and York counties receive priority funding, but the program is open statewide. The State Conservation Commission administers funds through County Conservation Districts.Watershed groups working with farmers should know about CEG as a stackable funding source alongside EQIP and CREP.
