The Community Conservation Partnership Program (C2P2) combines several DCNR funding streams to support acquisition, development, planning, and education projects. Watershed-relevant categories include riparian forest buffer grants, land trust acquisition, stream access projects, and trail construction along waterways. Applications are evaluated annually. C2P2 is a reimbursement-based program with a 50/50 match requirement. Nonprofit land trusts, watershed groups, and municipalities are all eligible. DCNR regional advisors provide pre-application guidance and review drafts before the formal submission window opens.
