Program Summary

Largest water quality conference and exhibition in North America, covering wastewater treatment, stormwater, watershed management, and water reuse.

Full Description

WEFTEC is the water quality sector's biggest annual event, attracting 20,000+ water professionals, utility operators, researchers, and vendors each year. Technical sessions cover every aspect of wastewater and stormwater management, including watershed approaches to nutrient reduction, green infrastructure, PFAS treatment, and municipal separate storm sewer system compliance. The exhibit hall features hundreds of vendors. WEFTEC is primarily attended by utility professionals, but watershed groups working on stormwater TMDL issues benefit from selected sessions. The Pennsylvania Water Environment Association (PWEA) coordinates discounted registration and arranges a state delegation. Reduced-rate registration is available for nonprofit staff and students.
