Full Description
This special 90-minute edition of River Network's State Policy Showcase features advocates working in four states (Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, and New York) on efforts to build momentum around pausing the rapid buildout of data centers, crafting policies that protect people and water resources, and working with state legislators on this fast-moving issue. Speakers include Andrew Rehn (Prairie Rivers Network), Alexandra Campbell-Ferrari (Center for Water Security and Cooperation), Michelle Stockness (Freshwater Society), Carly Griffith (Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy), and Jon Binder (Model Climate Laws Initiative). Data center water demand is an emerging concern in Pennsylvania and the wider region, making this a timely session for H2O member groups. Free registration via Zoom.
