RCAP Solutions Webinar: Climate Resiliency and Emergency Preparedness for Private Wells (September 17, 2026)
Program Summary
A free one-hour webinar for private well owners, water professionals, and public health officials on protecting private wells against flooding, drought, and other climate-driven emergencies.
Full Description
RCAP Solutions is offering a free, one-hour online webinar on September 17, 2026 covering climate resiliency and emergency preparedness for private wells. The session is intended for private well owners, water professionals, public health officials, and community leaders. Private wells serve a very large share of households across rural southwestern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia, and they sit almost entirely outside the Safe Drinking Water Act regulatory framework, which means owners carry the full burden of testing, treatment, and emergency response. This webinar pairs well with the Penn State Extension PFAS in Private Wells workshops and the River Network Private Wells and PFAS session already in the H2O library. Registration is through the RCAP Solutions events calendar.
