Program Summary

Free one-hour EPA webinar on December 9, 2026 where utility representatives share how SWIFT technical assistance helped them build resilience to floods, drought, and other natural hazards.

Full Description

EPA's Strengthening Water Infrastructure for Tomorrow (SWIFT) initiative offers free, tailored technical assistance to water and wastewater utilities, from risk and resilience assessments to emergency response plan updates to quantifying the risk reduction of specific resilience projects. This webinar, Wednesday, December 9, 2026, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET, features utility representatives from around the country who went through the SWIFT process. CEUs are not offered, but EPA will provide supporting documentation for attendees to take to their state agencies. Useful timing for small and mid-sized community water systems facing the December 31, 2026 emergency response plan recertification deadline, and a natural follow-on to the October 14 SWIFT ERP webinar already in the library.
