Full Description
POWER directs federal resources to communities hit by declines in coal mining, coal-fired power generation, and related supply chains, which describes most of southwestern PA, southeastern OH, and nearly all of WV. Infrastructure is a named eligible activity category, and projects may be single-county or multi-county regional efforts. ARC has been awarding roughly $65 million a year through the initiative.
