Full Description
G3 supports design and implementation of green streets, community greening, and urban tree canopy projects that reduce stormwater runoff, increase green space, improve local water quality, and enhance community livability. Six tracks are offered: conceptual plans up to $20,000, engineered designs up to $35,000, construction and implementation up to $175,000, community greening up to $50,000, white papers up to $20,000, and charrette or technical planning assistance with no direct funding. The program explicitly serves small towns and rural areas, not just urban centers, which makes it a realistic fit for boroughs across the PA and WV Chesapeake headwaters. Match is encouraged but not required.
