The Pooled Monitoring Initiative funds research that answers restoration questions currently blocking project implementation, including practice effectiveness, optimal site conditions, social science approaches to increasing practice adoption, and information useful for permitting and monitoring program design. It is a partnership of the Chesapeake Bay Trust, Maryland DNR, EPA's Chesapeake Bay Program Office, MDOT SHA, and multiple Maryland counties.
