FEMA's BRIC program supports states, tribes, territories, and local governments in implementing pre-disaster hazard mitigation projects. Eligible activities include floodplain restoration, stormwater infrastructure upgrades, dam safety improvements, and nature-based solutions like wetland creation and green stormwater infrastructure.BRIC is a strong match for water-system and watershed groups whose work reduces flood risk or increases climate resilience. Awards can reach $50 million for capability and capacity-building or large infrastructure projects.Applications flow through the PA Emergency Management Agency.
