Program Summary

Annual gathering of conservation district leaders and partners featuring policy briefings, technical training, and peer networking.

Full Description

The NACD Annual Meeting brings together conservation district supervisors, staff, and partners from across the United States for a week of policy updates, technical sessions, and peer exchange. Pennsylvania conservation district staff and board members regularly attend. The event covers agricultural conservation, forestry, urban water quality, equity and inclusion, and district operations. Keynotes often feature senior USDA leaders and other federal partners, making the event an important venue for understanding federal program direction. NACD also hosts regional meetings throughout the year. Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts (PACD) coordinates state delegations and may subsidize travel for some attendees.
