Full Description
The initiative pools funding from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, NRCS, the Forest Service, Native Americans in Philanthropy, and other private funders into one competitive program. Core areas of need include conserving and restoring rivers, wetlands, and watersheds, improving community and ecosystem resilience to flooding and drought, and expanding community access to the outdoors. Applicants are encouraged to propose landscape-scale or cross-jurisdictional projects that advance existing conservation plans.
