NFWF Delaware Watershed Conservation Fund

Competitive grants to restore habitat and water quality across the Delaware River watershed, including eastern Pennsylvania.

Launched in 2018 with major funding from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the fund has awarded $85.5 million to 270 projects, generating over $120 million in match. Priority strategies include sustaining fish and wildlife habitat, improving water quality for people and wildlife, and expanding outdoor recreation access. The 2026 round closed in March, and the program runs on an annual cycle, so the 2027 request for proposals is expected in the first quarter.
