Full Description
Community and Watershed Forestry grants fund riparian buffers, lawn-to-meadow and lawn-to-forest conversions, and community trees including Urban and Community Forestry work. Funding can cover outreach, design, planting, and post-planting maintenance, and one application can support multiple installations and practices across a service area. Match is 20 percent of total project cost and the minimum award is $50,000. The window opens the second Monday of January and closes the last business day of April.
