PA DEP SMCRA Bond Forfeiture Water Treatment Funding

Funds design, construction, and rehabilitation of treatment facilities at abandoned mine drainage discharges on forfeited-bond sites.

This is a separate water funding line from both Growing Greener and the AML/AMD program, targeted specifically at acid mine drainage discharges on sites where the operator's reclamation bond was forfeited. Eligible costs include engineering design, construction, and rehabilitation of passive or active treatment systems. Applications run through the Growing Greener Plus portal.
