PA-specific nonprofit providing technical, training, and certification support to small water and wastewater systems statewide.

The Pennsylvania Rural Water Association (PRWA) is the state-level affiliate of the National Rural Water Association, providing technical assistance, training, certification courses, and circuit rider services to small water and wastewater systems across Pennsylvania. PRWA helps systems with source water protection planning, leak detection, GIS mapping, board training, and emergency response.For watershed groups working at the intersection of source water and drinking water, PRWA is the primary technical partner for the small public water systems that serve much of rural PA.PRWA also runs Pennsylvania's drinking water operator certification training pipeline.
