RCAP's national State Revolving Fund workshop brings EPA, state SRF programs, and technical assistance providers together for four days of sessions on financing water and wastewater infrastructure for small systems.

Full Description

RCAP is hosting its National State Revolving Fund (SRF) Infrastructure Financing and Training Workshop August 17-20, 2026 in Denver, Colorado. Registration is $700 regular, $595 for speakers. The agenda is squarely aimed at the problems small systems in PA, OH, and WV run into: sessions include How Accessible Are the SRFs? A Cross-State Analysis of Barriers Facing Small and Rural Communities, Bridging the Engineering Gap: Helping Small Systems Navigate SRF, Setting Rates that Sustain Infrastructure Investment, SRF Application Checklist: Is Your Project Ready?, Convincing Utility Governing Boards to Support SRF Applications, What to do when the Money Runs Out: Impacts of Declining Capitalization Grants, Countdown to Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI) Compliance, Water and Wastewater Cybersecurity Overview, and Accelerating Source Water Protection: Finance, SRF, and Watershed Scale Impact. Even for members who cannot travel, the agenda is a useful map of where SRF practice is heading and which topics to raise with PENNVEST, Ohio EPA DEFA, and WV DEP SRF staff.
