RCAP Solutions Online Workshop: Septic Smart for Homeowners (September 16, 2026)

Free one-hour online workshop teaching private septic system owners how to locate, maintain, and protect their systems.

This free online workshop covers septic system basics for homeowners, including where a septic system is located, how often a tank should be pumped, and how maintenance protects drinking water quality and the surrounding environment. RCAP Solutions notes that surveys consistently show homeowners know very little about their septic systems. Because it is delivered virtually, it is accessible outside RCAP Solutions' Northeast service territory, which makes it usable for PA, OH, and WV watershed groups that want to point residents somewhere without building their own curriculum.
