Program Summary

A free one-hour webinar walking small utilities through EPA's financial planning tools, the Water Finance Clearinghouse, the SWIFT Initiative, and federal funding programs.

Full Description

The Rural Community Assistance Partnership is hosting a free webinar on September 17, 2026 from 1 to 2 pm ET covering the U.S. EPA Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center resources that help small drinking water and wastewater utilities improve financial sustainability, identify funding opportunities, and build long-term infrastructure resilience. Participants are introduced to EPA financial planning tools, the Water Finance Clearinghouse, the Smart Water Infrastructure Financing and Innovation (SWIFT) Initiative, and the federal funding programs that support utility improvements. Presenters are Anna Mahan, Randy Welch, and Jon Cawley of the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project. This is a good fit for the small rural systems across the H2O service area that struggle to navigate federal funding options, and it pairs well with the SRF and technical assistance resources already in the library. Registration is through GoToWebinar via the RCAP listing.
