READY Appalachia
Program Summary
Free cohort-based capacity building plus flexible funding for Appalachian nonprofits, local governments, community foundations, and Local Development Districts.
Full Description
READY Appalachia has five tracks, and two of them land squarely on H2O's audience. READY Nonprofits is a seven-week training program for Appalachian nonprofit staff and board members, and READY Local Governments trains municipal officials to identify, secure, and manage federally funded infrastructure projects. The program prioritizes economically distressed counties and has moved real money, including $11.6 million to 47 organizations through READY Grants to Grow in December 2025.
