River Network Data Centers Resource Collection and National Map

A curated resource collection and national map of data center infrastructure for advocates responding to data center water demand.

River Network developed this collection to support advocates on what it describes as one of the most mobilizing issues of 2026 across the water, energy, land use, and economic development sectors. It pairs a four-page curated resource collection with the National Laboratory of the Rockies map of data center infrastructure. It is filed under River Network's Resilient Cities and Communities and Water Law and Policy programs. Timely for Pennsylvania and Ohio, both of which are seeing large data center siting proposals with significant water demand implications.
