PA Organization for Watersheds and Rivers (POWR)

Statewide nonprofit supporting Pennsylvania watershed organizations through training, networking, advocacy, and the PA Rivers Conservation Program.

POWR is the statewide nonprofit network supporting Pennsylvania watershed organizations. POWR provides training, networking, peer learning, and advocacy at the state Capitol on issues affecting watershed groups. The organization also helps coordinate the PA Rivers Conservation Program and Sojourns initiative.Member groups can attend POWR's annual conference, access organizational development resources, and connect with peer watershed organizations across PA. POWR is one of the most established watershed network organizations in the country.For H2O Network member groups, POWR is a complementary statewide partner — focused on PA-specific advocacy and training while H2O Network focuses on the SW PA region and water equity.
