Three Rivers Waterkeeper is the Waterkeeper Alliance affiliate for the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio river systems in southwestern Pennsylvania. The organization conducts regular patrols of the rivers, investigates pollution incidents, files Clean Water Act citizen suits, and advocates on water quality issues affecting Pittsburgh and the broader region. The Riverkeeper is a full-time on-water role that maintains direct community connection.
