eMapPA is the Pennsylvania DEP's flagship interactive mapping portal, displaying environmental data layers across the state including NPDES permits, oil and gas wells, abandoned mine features, monitoring stations, impaired waters, and source water protection areas.Watershed groups can use eMapPA to investigate pollution sources, identify monitoring gaps, document upstream conditions, and prepare maps for grant applications and reports. Layers can be combined and exported.An indispensable starting point for any PA-specific watershed mapping or investigation work.
