Project Learning Tree (PLT) is a nationally recognized environmental education program that provides K-12 curriculum, educator training, and student materials covering watersheds, forests, and natural resource stewardship. PLT activities are aligned with state academic standards and integrate seamlessly with PA STEELS science standards.PA Project Learning Tree is administered through the Pennsylvania Forestry Association. Educator workshops are offered statewide and many are free or low-cost.For watershed groups running school programs, PLT provides ready-to-use, peer-reviewed lessons that complement field work and reduce curriculum development time.
