Program Summary
Free national webinar on bringing residents into utility planning and decisions using the Building Blocks of Trust framework.
Full Description
WaterNow Alliance is hosting a free webinar on October 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific (1:00 p.m. Eastern) on engaging the community in utility decision-making. The session makes the case that involving residents in planning can rebuild trust, lift participation in utility programs, and help a utility act as an anchor institution. Case studies include Detroit Water and Sewerage Department's lead service line replacement program and participatory planning for green stormwater infrastructure at Pima County Regional Flood Control District. WaterNow staff moderate, and the session also serves WaterNow's Emerging Leader Network. Registration is through Zoom from the event page.
