EPA Technical Assistance Webinar Series: Improving CWA-NPDES Permit Compliance

A free monthly webinar series helping small wastewater treatment systems return to and maintain Clean Water Act NPDES permit compliance.

EPA's Office of Compliance runs a free monthly webinar series on improving CWA-NPDES permit compliance at small wastewater treatment systems, supporting the joint EPA and authorized-state Significant Noncompliance Rate Reduction National Compliance Initiative. The series targets the most common category of dischargers in significant noncompliance: systems treating less than one million gallons per day, which describes a large share of small-town plants across PA, OH, and WV. Sessions have covered process control technical assistance for small mechanical plants, an Ammonia Removal Best Practices tool, and a four-part plant walkthrough and troubleshooting video series presented by an Ohio EPA engineer. Registered attendees receive a certificate of attendance that may qualify for continuing education credit depending on the state certification authority.
