Residents in small and rural communities often rely on onsite wastewater treatment systems and carry the full financial and technical burden of maintaining them, a pattern that describes much of the H2O service area. This webinar examines two programs that help onsite system owners maintain and repair their systems and the methods communities used to fund those programs. It also covers funding, financing, and technical assistance available for clean water projects in small communities. Speakers are Evan Kane of Wake County, North Carolina Onsite Water Protection and Guinn Wallover of Mount Pleasant Waterworks, South Carolina.
