Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Canoe Access Development Fund (CADF) – Fall 2026 Round
Program Summary
Grants of up to $5,000 for watershed organizations and community groups to build or improve canoe and kayak access to rivers and streams in western Pennsylvania.
Full Description
The Canoe Access Development Fund supports construction and enhancement of canoe and kayak access sites across 25 western Pennsylvania counties. Funds can stabilize access areas, add nearby parking, purchase riverside access, or cover other access improvements. WPC reports past awards at sites on about 40 waterways. Sites that completed their initial 10-year commitment from an earlier CADF grant may reapply. Applications must be postmarked by November 13, 2026, and recipients are notified by December 14, 2026. WPC also offers technical assistance on access projects. Useful for member groups pairing access work with PA Water Trail mini-grants.
