The 2026 Wild East Action Fund grant cycle is now accepting applications through June 26, 2026. Roughly $1 million is available to support land protection, conservation planning, capacity building, and community resilience projects across the 14 states the Appalachian Trail traverses (including PA and WV). Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public agencies, and regional conservation collaboratives aligned with the Appalachian Trail Landscape Partnership.
